Design Stage 2 -

Taking the horizontal banner idea forward I have now created the following design...

I feel the balance is right between image and text, and I do like the coloured banner fading behind the image. However, I think it works best in black and white - would not be so strong in colour...

As I thought, it is not as strong, I do still like it, but think it would be more appropriate in black and white, with one spot colour.

Next design is taking Alex Bucktin's idea and trying some different layouts out...

I have removed the italic, serif font and have replaced it with something more simple and uncomplicated.

I am pleased with both these designs and I will talk through them both with Alex and Sara on Wednesday.
